Delle Venezie, a large growing area located in northeast Italy, has earned the IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) designation, meaning that its wines of are superior quality with true varietal character. In the case of Pinot Grigio, which loves the cool climate of Delle Venezie, that means a wine that is light, delicate and easy to love.
Pinot Grigio from northeast Italy it makes a light, crisp and neutral wine. Alce Cura Pinot Grigio, hailing from the cool climate of Northern Italy, offers a crisp acidity that quenches through the finish.
This wine is a perfect introduction to the variety. Delicately scented and soft on the palate, it offers classic citrus and floral notes in a balanced elegant style. Clear, shiny, pale lemon in color, the aromas of lime and peach complement undertones of green apple and a hint of melon. On the palate, it is smooth and refreshing with lemon and line followed by lingering stone fruit, a crisp acidity and a long, pleasant finish.
It is an outstanding pairing partner for food, such as appetizers or fish-based dishes. A great choice for any occasion, but it is ideal with hors d’oeuvres, chilled melon and/or vegetable soups, fresh garden salads, lemon chicken, steamed white fish and grilled sole. As a dessert choice pair with key lime pie.
