Last April I had the pleasure of meeting with the New Jersey State President of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Mr. Richard Bard. Rich enlightened me on some of the activities and programs that the Elks develop in order to give back to communities all over the nation. He also introduced me to one of the Elk’s top priorities: support for homeless veterans.
Richard Bard was one of my sponsors and I’m delighted to say I was inducted into the Manasquan, New Jersey Elk Lodge number 2534. The introduction to the Elks Oaks organization ignited an idea to formulate the nonprofit, wineswithcauses.org.
I am proud to announce the initial launch of a new Italian wine brand called “Alce Cura”
The Italian meaning of “Alce Cura” is “Elk Care” and we have developed a line of four Italian wines:
Pinot Grigio, Grillo, Rosso Toscana, and Chianti.
We hope that our Wines with Causes campaign will be embraced by the Elks community and their lodges, as well as restaurants and retailers throughout the entire United States in support of homeless veterans. The wines are scheduled to be available online at our website wineswithcauses.org just in time for Independence Day. Orders can be placed accordingly, with a portion of the wholesale proceeds going go to homeless veterans.
For the love of wine, please visit our website for more information about our wines and our nonprofit organization. Please help us in our goal to raise over $1 million in 2018 and to one day putting an end to veterans’ homelessness.
Never before has it been so easy to raise a glass and raise some funds!
